Moving — common questions
What is your hourly rate for a move?
The question is understandable, but it misses the point. An hourly rate makes sense when you hire labour: someone comes for a set number of hours, you tell them what to do, and you are responsible for the result.
With us you do not hire hours, you order a move with an agreed result. The price covers everything that takes: the work of an experienced moving crew, a vehicle, fuel, lifting equipment and protective material for your furniture, insured liability, and taxes and contributions.
That is why an hourly rate tells you nothing useful about the price. An experienced crew loads a flat in the time someone inexperienced would still be dismantling a wardrobe — and in a move what matters most is that nothing gets damaged. With hourly billing you carry the risk — if the job takes longer, you pay more. With an agreed price we carry it.
The price of a move depends on the amount of furniture and belongings, the floor and whether there is a lift, vehicle access, the distance, and whether packing and dismantling are needed. Send an inquiry — the agreed price stays the same even if there is more work on site than we expected.
What does your moving service include?
By arrangement: packing, furniture protection, disassembly and assembly, carrying, transport and placement at the new address. Scope is adapted to your wishes and budget.
Can you clean the old flat after the move?
Yes — that is our biggest advantage. We deep-clean the old home for handover and prepare the new one before you move in.
How is the price of a move determined?
It depends on the amount of belongings, distance, floor and additional services. Send an inquiry with a short description and you will quickly receive a quote.
Do you also move offices?
Yes — quickly and well organised, so your business downtime is minimal.
Who does the cleaning if I book it together with this service?
The cleaning is taken over by our cleaning masters — a separate, specially trained team that you book with the same call, and whose schedule we align so there is no waiting in between. Each master earns the title through an induction period and an internal assessment. Because they work far better than the industry average, they are also paid far better. What if something gets damaged during the work?
We hold public liability insurance with Allianz — up to EUR 150,000 per claim. If damage to your property occurred despite all our care, we file the claim ourselves and the insurer covers it; you do not have to arrange anything. In practice this happens very rarely, but precisely because the cover is in place, it is not something you need to think about.
